Confidence at the End

2 minute read

If I can dream it, I can build it. – Me

I get so excited at the beginning of a new project.

I can experiment with new ideas.

I can dream up something complicated.

Then I can make it simple.

I can imagine it being used by millions of people.

The Old

I used to stop working when the initial excitement wore off.

Then I built up the dedication to keep working on a project when I lost sight of the initial goal.

Getting excited by new things but not finishing them made me an ideas guy.

I want to be an action guy.

The New

By taking projects to completion – launching – I became an action guy.

And the confidence that I build from each launch makes me believe in myself.

The honeymoon period of an idea is sugar.

The confidence from knowing that you can do whatever you can put your mind to is protein.

I am just finally starting to believe that I can build what I want to build.

I am just starting to believe in myself.

Now would be a terrible time to quit.

I just need to do my best.

Then I’ll know it was worth it.
